Albert J. (A.J.) Novak has been a member of the Hundred Club of DuPage County’s Board of Directors since 2013. He earned a Bachelor degree in Chemistry and Master of Business Administration from Loyola University of Chicago; and went on to study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Mr. Novak is a widely accomplished business executive with global experience in publicly traded companies, private equity owned and privately owned businesses. In 2025, Mr. Novak retired from his role as President of ALE Solutions, Inc., the nation’s largest provider of temporary housing solutions to the Property and Casualty Insurance Industry, and he currently provides part time consulting, advisory and board services to privately held and private equity owned businesses. He is a former adjunct professor at Aurora University’s Dunham School of Business and served on the Aurora University Dunham School of Business Advisory Board.
Mr. Novak and his wife Lynne reside in Naperville and have two daughters. He was a member of the Naperville Community Unit School District 203 Boundary Committee, past president of the Huntington Swim and Tennis Club in Naperville and a former parent manager of the Naperville Soccer Association. In 1992, Mr. Novak was commissioned by the Governor of Kentucky as a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
